Rural communities such as Patria and Turiguano in Moron location, Ciego de Avila Province, overdo in their mass activities through the CDRs, organization which will celebrate its 50th anniversary next September 28th.
 
Popular watching can be considered the most outstanding activity, which is at the same time the reason of being of the organization, as well as the collection of raw recycling materials, and the use of farm productive yards, by the families.
 
In the popular council of Turiguano, where small communities and villages are located, farm food production is the most relevant activity in a referential area having excellent results.
 
Besides, it is of great importance the movement Watching the Sea, which constituted by the membership, invigilates the coast and the surroundings of the keys which form the touristic destination Jardines del Rey.
 
Also located in Moron , some other communities such as Los Quemados and El Chillante, situated on the road to Ciego de Avila city, show an integrated and sustained activity, in which popular night watching got an important role in the prevention of illegalities.
