Workers from the Care Forest Unit in Moron, stimulate the conservation of the forest in the territorial area of the municipality, by means of actions leading to the improving of the natural conditions of the woods, and their expansion to other areas having the optimal characteristics for the plantation of trees.
 
In that sense, it is relevant the renovation of the wooden species by natural regeneration, main indicator of the transformations by means of which it is obtained  the  right balance   between cutting and planting as well as the avoiding of forest fires.
 
Workers from the sector in Moron are focused on the preservation of wood for the production of furniture and due to their resistance, such as cedar and some other trees used in industry, what make it possible to reduce importations.
 
Apart from that, the planting of coast mangroves permits the widening of availabilities and contributes to the ecosystems protection, mainly in areas close to the sea which are included in the 42,6 % of the forest in the municipality.
 
It also helps in the reforestation work the plantation of trees in suburban areas, mainly at both sides of the roads leading to other close locations.
