Moron should produce food for the population, it has paramount fields, but there is also a necessity to give farm productors the chance to do it, and find as many as possible alternatives as needed, said Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca, First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party in Ciego de Avila during a meeting with farmers from the territory.
 
The top leader in Ciego de Avila, made public the effort and devotion of the workers, but called the factors to eliminate the obstacles to get the best of each land hectare, including office procedures in the delivering of farm production.
 
The electrification of the irrigation units, and the picking out of the right samples for the growing up of cows, were among others, the topics discussed in the meeting, in which there were also heads of the Agriculture Ministry and the National Association of Short- term Farm Productors.
 
It was informed that in the last months, 19 water supply engines, has been working by using electric power, and that there is a work leading to an increasing of that activity which demands the concretion of actions to involve most of the farm productors.
 
In the experiences exchange, the attendants focussed their opinions in the diversification of farm production by the best use of the land available, and in the attention required by the productive units.
