Meeting in honor of Jose Angel Buesa poet in Moron in the centennial of his birthday
The members of the poetry club located in Moron city in Ciego de Avila province, which was named after the well known poet Jose Angel Buesa, will have a meeting in Sergio Antuña library next Thursday to commemorate the centennial of the poet’s birth.
Poem readers of the territory will attend the meeting for the occasion, and there will be a show offered by the group of instrumental music Finale, and the dancing group of the artistic brigade Jose Marti , besides, there will be a post mortem dedication to Armando Ledon, an outstanding figure of Moron, and a supporter of the club.
In the same way, the people gathered in the place will exchange about Buesa´s life and work, and several poetry contests supported by the club, which in some way make influence on the Cuban poetry, will be prized.
A lot more than the meeting, the activity has as its most essential aim, to offer respect and gratitude to a figure who died in the 80s and left a task of art full of romanticism with a clear tone of melancholy through all his poems.
Jose Angel Buesa was born on September 2nd 1910, in Cruces city, a location in Cienfuegos province, and he began to compose his first poems at the early age of 7 years.
