Specialists from Moron are developing a project on the production of animal protein
A project named Increment of Animal Protein Production in Ciego de Avila is developed by the Searching Centre of Bio-aliments in Moron location, as part of the strategies focused to increase food production.
From the very beginning of May of the running year, specialists of the previously mentioned scientific institution are running the matching works through an informative process, to prove there are capacities to obtain meat from a variety of mammals and birds in a sustainable way.
The project is headed to governmental enterprises, farm and individual productors, what widens its aims to all around the province of Ciego de Avila.
Important information, about experiences on cows growing, is being gathered, and it is being carried out the making of a catalogue containing knowledge related with animal feeding, and the optimal handling of remains.
There are also suggested the experiences of referential farms about the production of animal protein, which is going to become in their practical application, following the three-year schedule of the original plan.
The validation of this important project will be supported by the agricultural sector and by each and every association of animal production existing in the province.
