From the beginning of the coming academic course which is supposed to initiate in the former days of September, the Multitechnical Institute of Information Technology Sciences, will be in charge of 3 new specialties, as part of the transformations which are taking place in the teaching-learning system all over the country.
 
Then, the specialties are going to be Information Technology Science, Electronics, Automatic Systems and Pedagogy for a total registration of 800 pupils from all the municipalities of Ciego de Avila province.
 
Mr.Bismar Zalaber Varela, principal of the institute informed that the school building is going through a process of rehabilitation and maintenance of the plumbing system, masonry and painting among others, carried out by construction brigades from other locations of the province such as Ciro Redondo, Primero de Enero, Chambas, and Florencia, including Moron.
 
He said that together with the beginning of the coming course, the institute will function on an internal regime and with a teacher’s body formed by the best professionals in each and every of the specialties.
 
The institute will have dorms, computing labs, classrooms, workshops and wide kitchen and dining room, apart from sport areas among other facilities.
