With political, cultural and festive activities, it was received in Moron, Ciego de Avila province, the arrival of the 57th anniversary of the heroic Moncada´s attack.

Since very early, dancing music could be heard in the neighbourhoods, while the members of the Committees for the Defence of the Revolution, were cooking the famous cuban traditional soup, as it happens in all special commemorations.

The festivities to greet July 26th had as scenery, blocks and neighbourhoods beautifully adorned with cuban flags, other ornamental elements and revolutionary calls.

The district of the CDR number 74, in the location “El Vaquerito” was among the happiest of all, as there was a previous collective effort in the cleaning and the beautifying of the place, as an answer of the neighbours to some social benefits received such as public lighting, rehabilitation of houses and the local elementary school “Abel Santamaria”and the improvement of the water supply system.

Similar activities were held in many other parts of the city and in the near locations of Patria and Turiguano, as a proving example of the happiness of the people who defend a revolution that is focused on Marti’s thought “With all and for the wealth of all”
