A large number of Senior High Students in Moron municipality, Ciego de Avila province, have registered in the Students Working Brigades to work in the most important economical tasks of the territory during 15 days of their summer vacations.

The main priorities are focused in food production and construction such as vegetable intensive parcels and important social construction sites.

The members of the brigades will make a 3-stage-rotation within the month of August, and then they will have a full enjoyment of their well deserved vacations.

Last week there were also activated the so called Pioneer Action Forces with students from 4th to 9th grades. They focused their duties in the cleaning of the educational centers and in the fixing and creation of material aids.

Besides, they supported the antivectorial campaign by checking the residential areas with the aim to educate the population on the need to struggle without rest against the Aedes aegypti mosquito.
